Dear confreres,

 

We have ‘entered’ the Holy Week which will lead us, through the tragic

moments of the life of Jesus, to the glory of His resurrection. The

resurrection of Jesus is, also, our resurrection.

 

The essence of the Paschal mystery is that God brings good out of

evil, life out of death, victory from defeat.

 

  We are invited to pass from our old self to the new one in the image

of the Lord Jesus. We have to see the light and life of Christ in

front of us! We have to cultivate the certainty that things will

change for better, that nothing is lost  for us, for our communities,

for the Congregation, the Church and the entire world.

 

I wish to all of us a blessed Easter!

 

I am forwarding to you the letter of Father General, Fr. Angelo and

Mother General Mo. Teolinda declaring the ‘Eucharistic Year’ from July

1, 2011 to July 1, 2012.

 

The celebration of the two Jubilees: the 125 of the coming of Jesus in

the sacrament in the Pious Work and the 25 of our presence in India

are wonderful occasions to look at that Eucharistic event which

constitutes the foundation of our existence and our growth.
